After Hurricaine Katrina hit the Gulf Coast, Crossway Mission Team partnered with Gulf Gardens Baptist Church in Gulf Port, Mississippi to help those in the Gulf Port area recover from the devestation.  Pastor Don Blackwell and his wife Lisa and son Austin are dedicated to rebuilding their community and church.
Our Team took clothing and supplies and we Celebrated Thanksgiving together.  The folks in Gulf Port are very thankful for what they have and are determined to regain their lives and rebuild their homes.  In December we celebrated with Gulf Gardens as they hosted a block party and provided Christmas gifts for many familes who would not have had any Christmas.
In February our team went back down to Gulf Port to assist in some construction and repairs.  We plan to continue our ministry in Gulf Port as opportunities arise.
